Emiliano Sala, ricerche sospese e trovati oggetti in mare
Si sono concluse pochi minuti fa le ricerche del Piper Malibu con a bordo Emiliano Sala.
Come fa sapere la polizia di Guernsey, durante la ricerca di 15 ore effettuata via acqua e aria, sono stati rinvenuti degli oggetti in mare. Impossibile però dire se questi siano quelli dell’aereo di Sala. Le ricerche riprenderanno domani all’alba appena ritornerà la luce del sole. Ma la polizia, tramite il proprio account Twitter teme il peggio affermando che, in caso di “atterraggio in mare”, le possibilità di sopravvivenza del pilota e del 28enne argentino sono flebili. Si continua comunque a sperare in un miracolo.

During the course of the 15-hour search, which used multiple air and sea assets from the Channel Islands, UK and France, a number of floating objects have been seen in the water. We have been unable to confirm whether any of these are from the missing aircraft.

We have found no signs of those on board. If they did land on the water, the chances of survival are at this stage, unfortunately, slim.
Two planes and a lifeboat are still searching.

Search and rescue operations have been suspended as the sun has now set.
The current plan is for it to resume at sunrise tomorrow.
